"Ari" explores the journey between birth and death, two moments we experience alone. Between them is life, shaped by the people, places, and experiences that connect us.
Inspired by the 2026 theme, Axis Mundi, the tunnel acts as a passage between these points. As participants move through its changing scale and repeating patterns, individual paths overlap within a shared structure. The pattern represents the invisible connections between us and how our lives influence one another.
Each person enters and exits alone, but the space between is experienced together. The work reflects a simple idea: our beginnings and endings may be solitary, but everything in between is interconnected.
