TITANIC is a wooden ship, split in half, sinking into the playa. Dynamic, interactive lighting will illuminate the vessel at night, while flame effects will blast from the top two twin smoke stacks.
A climbable, amphitheater-forming sculpture for citizens of BRC to watch a performance or a sunset from, TITANIC represents the hubris of man and his faith in technology. As we continue to extract resources from the world at ever greater scale, will we find a sustainable equilibrium with the planet? Or will it end in tragedy? We are running the experiment live.
