The Council of Animals (What to do about the Humans) is a piece that explores our relationship with the other members of our animal family, and encourages us to think about what our relations might say to us, if they spoke in words we could understand.
The goal of the piece, really, is to shift our perspectives, help us build a better word-castle to live in, that includes the rest of our family. We have the power to change the future. We've been in a rush for so long, as a sub-species, racing towards uncertain futures during troubled times.
It's time to pause, stop, think about what we're doing, have realistic discussions about our choices, our plans, and our collective futures. As one life, on one planet, with nowhere else to go.
